This mosaic Damascus integral bolster hunter was forged for my first mastersmith test set at Bladeshow Atlanta 2024. The blade is a proprietary hex based mosaic Damascus that I dubbed “Flower weave” and is composed of 1080 and 15n20 high carbon steels with the best high contrast etch I’ve ever achieved. The handle is sculpted from a very dark and dense cut of African Blackwood, one of my all time favorite handle materials.
