This unique forged to finish 1080 chopper is a beast of a blade, with a 12” cutting edge, 3/8” at the spine, and forged hollow geometry. The handle is sculpted from Rooibos (an extremely dense South African hardwood) and is fit to the integral bolster in my signature V shaped style. The hidden tang is notched and bedded with Gflex 24 hour epoxy for a durable bond that is rated to last well over a century.

This chopper was featured in a video on my YouTube channel that highlights the forging and testing process of the blade. And will have a custom sheath made by leatherworker Francensca Ritchie, owner of Teton leatherworks. There will be a video about the design process on Francesca’s YouTube channel, as well as a video about the build process for the sheath on my channel.
